Ilocos Sur National High School's Centenary Glory: Defying Odds with Excellence and Solidarity

    In the year 1902, in the quaint town of Ciudad Fernandina, a grand establishment was founded that forever changed the destiny of the community. It was none other than the Ilocos Sur National High School, a beacon of hope for the young minds of the region.     Our alma mater's foundation day was celebrated annually in March, and this year's high school day celebration had a special theme - "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds to Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity." This school year’s celebration took place on March 25, 2023, showcasing the school's unwavering dedication to excellence and solidarity. Throughout the years, the school had continuously evolved, adapting and innovating to stay relevant in changing times. This year's high school day celebration was truly a memorable event, filled with joy and nostalgia.

    The celebration was a success, with various activities aimed at celebrating the school's achievements while renewing the commitment to excellence and solidarity. It was a day filled with love, celebration, fun, and activities. The celebration featured cultural performances, games, speakers, and a closing ceremony, while the high school day had a holy mass, program, and field demo.
